gay love is ok - finding other gay people
Wherever you live you'll realise that a lot of gay people would like to meet others like them for relationships.
Whether you have just left the closet and don't know many gay people in your area, you live in a relatively small town or are stopped from meeting new people in some way that cannot be avoided then you share a problem with more people than you think.
Here you'll find some tips from others that have found successful ways to meet other gay people.
See if a nearby University or college has a notice board that gives details of gay clubs etc.
Find out if you have a local cinema that shows independent or alternative films.
Your nearest library should have a list of events that might include something that would appeal to the gay community. Try looking for gay bookshops too.
Check out the bars and nightclubs in your area or go further afield into the big cities. It shouldn't be hard to find where the gay hangouts are in London, Birmingham and Leeds etc.
While there is no guarantee that these establishments are absolute proof of a gay community they are likely to increase the chance of a few gays being in the area.
Good luck.
